The hand  decorated ceramic tiles were added in 1994,drawing influences from the natural world.
I create a silk screen  for each of the original designs. Next, I screen a wax resist  onto a bisque tile,
producing a simple line drawing. Glazes are applied by hand and then the tile is refired.
Since this is an individual process, glaze colors will vary.
A backing is glued onto the tile,allowing it to be hung for display when not in use as a trivet.
